Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

Ok so now I have my mega trade Cutter, I am more than happy to wing up with any new Mobians that would like some assistance making some easy credits. Feel free to add me and give me a shout while I'm in game and I can come to you and wing up.

If I'm correct then winging up earns wingmates 5% per ton profit and given what I made on my current run then that would work out as 90,180CR one way and 34,812CR on the return. Giving you a total of 124,992CR trade share profit just accompanying me for a 13LY per run hop.

I'm some way off being in that position (with Cutter and more money than I know what to do with) but when I get there I shall try to remember to be as generous.

Hey Derek, I see from your other posts that you are quite involved in PP with Winters. Unfortunately I'm on the other side, with ALD so I'm not in a position to help you gain merits (unless we undermine an independent power together). Since you seem to be comfortable with combat in military strikes, I wonder if you've been in a Resource Extraction Site (RES) to hunt wanted pirates. If you're comfortable with RES hunting, you may want to swing by the Community Goal (CG) that is active this week at Phiagre. There are a lot of Mobius commanders including myself that are killing pirates by the hundreds in the RES's there, in wings. It's pretty easy for a DBS to be helpful and stay safe when you're in a wing with 2-3 larger ships.

Also, I'd be happy to wing with you 1-on-1 for some RES hunting to gain you some credits toward the Python that you want (it truly is an amazing ship!). I typically hang around in systems near our home in Azrael. I'm in-game on the weekends in the evenings UK time, although I live in the USA.

Hey mate, I've got a friend request pending. If you see me online get in touch, I could use an escort while trading in my T-7 because it's a bit harder to escape interdictions than anything I've traded in before. You'll only get about 40k give or take for a round trip, but it's better than nothing if you can keep me alive. I'm working towards a Python too when I'm not doing missions for Empire rank, I really want a Clipper but at this rate I'll be able to afford a Python first despite it being more than double the price.

Cool. I should be at Phiagre this evening. It's in Empire space, so that will help you rebuild your major faction status a bit.

Today's quick tip for wings:

It's VERY helpful to be able to quickly select your wingman's target. If you don't have hotkeys setup already, I highly encourage you to do so. It is by far the fastest way to select the ship that your wingman has targeted, so that you are both attacking the same NPC.

I use F1-F3 for "select wingman" and F4 for 'wingman's target'. When winged up, you'll need to hit your hotkey for the wingman first, then your hotkey for his target, even if you only have one wingman. Having this setup in your bindings will make you a more successful wingman.
