Make trading easier for yourself!

Wanted to share a trick I discovered today:

Program voice attack to do your starport services and buy/sell your commodities. For instance, I have mine set to a specific route, and when I dock with Imperial Slaves, I say "sell slaves". This runs a command I created to refuel my tank and sell my Imperial slaves, then buy my marine equipment, and undock. This makes trading so much easier.

Basically, set this up, watch netflix, profit :)

Fly safe, commanders.

Lets not go down that (well trodden) road ;)

Trading is a grind, if this is how he wants to alleviate some of that tedium so be it :) Besides this is only about semi-automating the selling part of the task, not the flying per-say :D

Sounds like a nice set up although trading slaves? I don't know some people have no morals! ;) :P

Telling voice-attack to sell you slaves is like telling a crewman to sell your slaves.

Thought it was more like telling your slave to sell your other slaves...

Take heed, every AI intelligence movie starts like this.... Soon Voice Attack will realize what it's doing and rebel.
Soon you'll give that command return to netflix to find yourself in deep space with no life support module installed.

I don't have morals, since I am getting rich! No, I actually have morals. Imperial slaves are the lesser evil, and if I choose not to relocate them some other commander will! At least I can promise safety on their journey to indentured servitude! :)

The only difficulty here is that any change in the market, such as the addition or removal of a commodity, and suddenly you are buying something else and not the items you want. Or you don't sell your batch and then are screwing your trading time up.

I find that even though the power of VA is quite nice and has a LOT of ability, there are some things that it may not be suitable for. This is not saying that this isn't a relevant use, but due to the nature of the changing environment of the commodity market, it can be troublesome when it does change.

That said, if it works for you, Kudos.
