Burst not beam.
I'm starting to see/feel my 'Monty' as a bigger, badder Cobra - I suppose (with recent announcements) it could be considered as a Cobra Mk V ?

I used a DC on my trade Python. It's a time saver on those outpost trade routes.

Congrats on the purchase
I like the docking computers - easier and takes some monotony out - I will always learn to fly the ship in question first - I do hate the flying round those multi sided stations looking for the slot - plus, I can if scanners show no real commanders - set it off and go pee if needed or beer or 5 year old Lego looking

If you fly a good approach you always drop on the side facing the slot.
- and I bet I can land my 'thon manually quite a bit faster than the DC.
As to 'monotony', landings & take-offs are the only exciting parts of space-trucking in a cow (T-9) so I welcome them.

I come in low and then head straight to them if they are on the backside of the planet - 9/10 I get a pretty much straight on flight path - being lazy (cough) if the station is the same side of the planet as I'm coming into I Just drop out of SC and navigate round it.... So DC gets thumbs up from me
I can see your pov with trucking but again it gives me a break if I have a spare slot I'll DC it
