I have been playing Elite since back in the day on a BBC Model B (yes, I am that old!), via Frontier and now in E:D.

I dabbled a while ago, but recently decided to delve in.

Like most new pilots, I dabbled in this and that before I got an Asp Explorer and went a-wandering.

All was going well until I decided I needed to engineer my FSD, so I was pootling around in Deciat trying to get components to upgrade... and I got murdered.

No cargo, no bounty, no power play faction.

Interdicted by an other commadner in an FDL, and I just managed to get to super cruise before I died. Then I got interdicted again and that was that. One rebuy screen.

A bit of research, and the commander in question is part of a group famous for it, and then ALL the forum and Reddit posts about Ganking and I thought Open was not for me.

I wouldn't mind if there was a reason rather than Lulz, or some role play element, but I decided to avoid such unsavory types in future. And solo is.. well... lonely.

Anyway, thanks for having me and see you when I get back to the bubble!

Provided you have followed all the steps our admin team will accept you as soon as they are able.
Please keep in mind that due to Frontier Development EULA, only limited persons have access to the admin functions of each group and they do so as volunteers, the occasional delay is to be expected.
This can easily be up to 48+ hours.
