Hello Commanders, the serenity of space is calling...

Postby Cloud Breaker » Wed May 30, 2018 4:25 am

Hey everyone, I have recently come back to Elite. I reinstalled a few days before this big event dropped (I had no idea it was coming and felt like frontier did it just for me =D) and got a chance to take a stab at engineering and was amazed at how much I got done. I left elite not long after engineers came out and never actually did any engineering but I had a decent amount of mats I had randomly accumulated. So much has changed and I forgot how relaxing and calming the game was. I really need some calming serenity in my life and I am enjoying my time back very much so far.

My previous Elite experience was pretty casual, I didn't learn the game very in depth mostly just had fun, but I did burnout hard when I joined a player group and started trade grinding for better ships so I could try to participate in pvp (We played in open) and keep up with them. Looking back I kind of realize that I LOVED the game, it scratches a itch no other game has ever scratched and these past few years I have been gone I have constantly been thinking about and really missed it. But I made a grind for myself and it sucked my enjoyment away and I left. I'm not going to make that mistake again, I did grind some for this event to do some engineering but it was fun and new to me and I am thrilled with the progress. Now that the event is about to wind down I am looking forward to diving back in and having some fun. I have been playing solo and its kind of lonely, I work a lot and don't have much free time, a few hours a night If I am lucky so I have no interest in playing in open and having my enjoyment disrupted with ganks or unsought out pvp and harrassment. I have always heard about Mobius but never looked into it, and now that I have I am very excited to enjoy the game with like minded people and get involved with a community (I sent my registration and request tonight before this post).

I would very be interested to join a (Mature) wing with some like minded players to have some people to chat with in-game / play with. I would definitely be interested in a smaller group (10 or less) that plays around 12am-4am est. Anyone looking for a random in game friend who plays around my hours give a add if you want, all my old friends don't play anymore and its always nice having people to chat with when your lost in space. I look forward to flying with you all, o7 Commanders!
