CMDR Llen Coram reporting in

Hello everyone
I am a flight game enthusiast who has a hard time getting into flight games strictly because he has no one to play with. Some of my past experiences include Vendetta Online, Flight Sim 2000... something (2004?), and various old school flight/space games. I also pledged some money to Star Citizen (hiss), was severely heart broken when Jumpgate: Evolution was quietly murdered, and I played Eve Online for a long time.
In most of those games I've been a Coram of some sort. It's been my in-game "family name" since 2007 or so. Llen Coram is my most recent game name and the one I've sorta gravitated to the most; it's the name of my FFXIV character as well. I respond equally well to either Llen or Coram.
I have chosen PVE over PVP because, frankly, I suck at PVP in every single game I've ever played. It's less that I can't work the controls and more that I don't have the necessary emotional response to being shot at by another person; I usually just freeze up and think "well that's a shame."
Beyond that there's little to say. I'm an exceedingly boring adult with a boring adult job and little free time. I like video games and table top RPGs, and if anyone listens to podcasts and hasn't yet listened to Mission to Zyxx, I implore you to give that one a shot. Had me in stitches every single episode.
