CMDR Spectargo here,
I like to join a friendly group while playing.
Am not committed to any power or such, just peacfully jumping around doing missions (together with my boy ,11y old).
Some pvp interaction (no combat that is) would make a bit of a difference.
Have never done this before.
So....
How and when is a good way to connect???
I tried a couple of times, but no invitation came through...

There is a lot of info on the Join page, so just to be clear, you'll want to join:

MOBIUS PVE EURASIA - Europe/Africa Regional/Australia/New Zealand/Taiwan/Korea/China etc Regional
---or---
MOBIUS PVE - Americas/Canada/South America Regional

for your regular E-D play within the Mobius community.

Membership to Mobius Factions is optional, and is in addition to being a member of one of the groups listed above. Factions is intended to be used only for support of our player factions and exploration. It's great for instance, when we are at war so that you can easily wing with other Order of Mobius supporters no matter which main private group they are in.

Feel free to add your name to one of our 'In game friends lists'

Check out our Team Speak and Discord servers, which are great ways to chat, meet, and organize with other players.

Finally, if you are interested in being involved, go here to see information about our player group faction, the Order of Mobius (based at Rafferty's Mobius station in the Azrael system). We have our own Order of Mobius Twitter feed.

Thanks for the info.
I have signed up some 10 days (or so) ago, and received a confirmation email.
If you would be so kind and add my name to the firneds-list, that would be awesome!
Yesterday night I tried several times to join the group (Mobius PVE) but the request was not answered, so I am not sure how to proceed from here.
Eventually I requested to join and exited the game.
Not sure if that request is still active or not, the inner workings of all this is not intuitive to me.... maybe I am just too old...
If there is anything else necessary, please let me know!
I am at work now, but in about 3 hours I will fire up my PC and see what the status is...

Basically you have to give the admin's time. They have day jobs and lives, and while they do devote a lot of time to Mobius, some times it can be 2 or 3 days. If it goes beyond that I would ask again.
