Got this game from steam sale and I love it. Played for around 140hrs and main BH in RES or CG(May try trading/mining in the future), looking for people to wing up. Already joined Mobius Discord, read the rules and submitted online form/in-game request. Not using TS3 and no Horizons because Mac sorry...looking forward to play with you guys!

It sounds like you covered all the bases. Just give our admins a few days and they'll get you in the private group. In the mean time, you can certainly wing up through Discord, using players PG's.

Check out our TeamSpeak servers and Discord (voice and text chat) servers to easily chat with, and possibly wing up with other commanders.

There is a lot of great info on the message board, and we have compiled a long list of Tips and Tricks to help new players acclimatize to the game while having fun.
