Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

Hi, I am playing from Vernon, British Columbia Canada. I have joined MOBIUS PVE and MOBIUS FACTIONS. I have been playing ED for about a week though I played Elite Plus some 25ish years ago. I have played Eve more recently along with a lot of other MMOs. I am old enough that I started playing MUDs in university. I am at the point where I am thinking about which Superpower to align myself with. Are there any standard systems people base themselves out of? I see I need to work on my The Order of Mobius reputation. I have a Hauler for trading. I have been doing transport missions with it and need to find some loops to grind. I have a Cobra MKIII for exploration, mostly because I needed to find Pavlou Depot to complete a mission. I just upgraded to a Viper MKIII for combat. I still need to do some reading on weapons.

As for home stations, our group members that choose to support our player faction (Order of Mobius) can often be found in our home system of Azrael, or Exioce (where we recently became the controlling faction), or one of our other systems in the area.
