Greetings,

thank you for offering this group, related ressources and forum and for accepting my request to join Mobius.

My first space sim was Privateer 2 in the late 90s, which I hold in high regard.
I like the ongoing story progress in ED and the aesthetical beauty and "feel" of the game.

After exploring various activities in Elite from trading to mining to a little exploration to combat duties, I am interested in doing something with others as well, without the risk of pvp harrassment.

I currently fly an Imperial Courier and of the "non-profitable activities" I particulary enjoy planetary "canyon running". I would like to someday master "FA-off" flying, but that's a very long way to go. Not being able to effectively switch FA-modes on the fly as a mouse player (due to need to change relative mouse setting in the menu) is my only gripe with the game.

Thanks again, kind regards.

Welcome to the group! I also like to do canyon running, but I usually do it in a fighter. I'm lazy that way.

Building a Courier for it sounds like a lot more time and dedication is needed, and certainly a bigger penalty if you splat into the canyon wall and make an explosion.

Canyons are a blast! 8-)
