CMDR SailodeGrenn Reporting For Duty!

Postby SailodeGrenn » Sat May 06, 2017 2:33 am

Warning: Data Dump Ahead.

Hello all, my name is SailodeGrenn. I'm many things. I do even more. I'm a jack of most trades and master of some. I'm a motorcyclist, YouTuber, Musician, Audio Engineer (self taught), Technology Buff, Photographer, Videographer, etc. I used to be a hardcore pvp gamer in my teens but stopped because the stress was wrecking my body and life.

I played tons of Halo (still do but recreationally) and Call of Duty (eww) in my prime. Now I mostly play survival, sandbox, casual, or PVE games. Though I do love a good game with bots a la Halo Reach FireFight or WaW Zombies. Blops 2 has a good bots mode, too, I believe. I don't play PVP anymore if I can help it. Too much stress for me.

I've had five bikes over the years and have settled on a Honda Forza 300i. I'm a scooter guy, though I did try a Ninja 300. I say try because my brain couldn't handle the clutch. It was a beautiful machine and it pained me to see it go. But I've got an equally beautiful machine now with my Forzie.

I've got three YouTube channels. SailodeGrenn (personal channel), LiquidHorizonGamingTM (gaming channel), and Liquid Horizons (educational channel). Liquid Horizons is my primary channel currently. I upload stuff when I can. I try to get something up every other day.

I've released 4 chipmusic albums, 1 Darkcore/Industrial album, 2 techno/trance/
chill albums, and one free chipmusic single; all on Google Play Music. My last release was a light trance/chill sort of album in January 2017 called Light Dimension. It is the mirror album to my Darkcore/Industrial album, Dark Dimension. I have another chipmusic album in the hopper (looking at a May, June, or July launch), with another one on the way probably in August or September. I classify all my music as Progressive.

I grew up in the late 90s - early 2000s. I'm turning 23 this July. As far as Elite Dangerous goes, I'm strictly PVE. I'll bounty hunt NPCs till the cows come home, but I will avoid PVP like the plague. That being said, I will fight other players but only in self defense or in defense of others in the case of a distress call. I have a firm sense of right and wrong and am generally against piracy. At least in this game ;) .

I've tried just about everything in the base game. From bounty hunting to mining to running data. I currently have a Keelback that I believe is glitched as it won't let me install a fighter bay. Not that I care ATM. I'm currently running a passenger carrier build with a side of bounty hunting. I have a KWS for when pirates interdict me. I wrecked a Cobra MK3 with my four burst laser turrets. Took forever, but my shields never went down. Not that it would matter much with my 800 hull hp.

I'm planning on getting Horizons soonish and hopefully that will help things a lot. I'm saving up for a better people carrier but am torn between an ASP Explorer and a Python or something similar.

I'm gonna stick with passenger missions for a while and see how it goes. I know it's not the most lucrative thing but it's pretty fun.

I play on an Alienware Area 51. 3.9ghz i7 12 core CPU, 16gb ram, 2 SSDs, 3 HDDs, 2 nVidia GeForce GTX 970s in SLI, Logitech G710+ keyboard, G600 mouse, a Logitech Pro Extreme joystick, Yamaha MG12XU mixer, and Sennhieser HD 280 Pro headphones. I have an AKG P420 and a Shure PG48 that I use for microphones. AKG for the desk and PG48 for the floor. I can patch in my iPad Mini with a lavalier mic for skype if I need to.

Anyway, I generally keep to myself though I'm open to wings and such. Hit me up on steam if you want to talk over skype or something. SailodeGrenn is my name pretty much everywhere on the internet.

Btw I use a VPN on my iPhone so if there's any weird IP stuff going on that's why. I can turn it off for sites that it causes problems. Chipmusic.org in particular forces me to turn it off. I actually live in the USA, for those wondering.
