Greetings commanders,

Cmdr. Argent Smith reporting.

I'm a great fan of the old Elite which I played on ancient PCs in 1990's. Elite Dangerous is the best continuation to the line as far as I see, so I'm really happy to have this game. I'm a Russian UNIX old beard, real name Pavel Argentov. I enjoy developing software, caring for my family and, of course, play Elite. Hope to be accepted in Mobius PVE ASAP.

By adding yourself to the friends list, they simply mean make a post in the thread with your in game nick.

The op or mod should, if he's still around, update the first post at a semi regular fashion.

Tor is correct, just reply to the In game friends list for PC with your commander name, every so often an Admin (normally Flip) increments the first post with all the new commanders who have added their names.
