Hi all,
Played the game many years ago on Spectrum, Amstrad and Atari ST, buy not on PC. Since I started working from home on the PC, all my gaming is done on the PS4, so when I saw that ED was coming to it went over to the ED forums and joined.
That then got me thinking, and decided to buy it for the PC.

So here we are, new to ED, and new to this group. This is the sort of group the appeals to me, going to have enough issues grinding through the game without having to look over my shoulder all the time (not the best at combat scenarios), but would be nice to have a populated system.

So application pending on the ED group for UK, and hopefully might see some of you around.

Not having to look over your shoulder is certainly a great advantage of the group, especially as this version of the Elite has no rear-view display

Make sure you are comfortable with the policy of the group and there are plenty of people on here that would be happy to meet up in game if you need any help. Add some friends in game and you'll see who is on-line to chat to.

Let me paste in the normal welcome from one of the wonderful mods. Not sure who is around over the festive period and who might already have had too much turkey and eggnog.

It started with the game. Then I needed a hotas, I couldn't fathom playing this with a game pad.

Then I needed a new screen, and when that arrived I needed a new gpu to run it...
And then I added a Vive, and well I couldn't help myself so got an oculus as well..
