Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

o7 Commanders!

Just joined Mobius a few days ago and only just started really playing today. Was a long time player of Freelancer back in 2003 when it came out and have been searching for a game that would satisfy the itch for space sims ever since. Now playing Freespace 2 and Starpoint Gemini 2 on top of ED as well. Still learning my way around the game and this Thrustmaster HOTAS 4.

On a side note, I was curious if there are any......"Clans" (not sure what they are called in ED) on Mobius? Maybe something with some light RP/Story/faction focus?

The learning curve in E-D is pretty steep, so be sure to ask a lot of questions.

We have some guys that do RP and fan fiction. You can check out some of their stories and chat more with them in that sub-forum here.

Please feel free to add your name to one of our 'In game friends lists'

and check out our TeamSpeak servers or Discord (voice and text chat) servers to easily chat with, and possibly wing up with other commanders.

Also, make sure to check the Policy page if you haven't already .

On top of all of that, we also have a Facebook group and Twitter feed.

There is a lot of great info on the message board, and we have compiled a long list of Tips and Tricks to help new players acclimatize to the game while having fun.

Finally, if you are interested in being involved, go here to see information about our player group faction, the Order of Mobius (based at Rafferty's Mobius station in the Azrael system). We have our own Order of Mobius Twitter feed.

I think a very large portion of the RP around here takes place in peoples heads as they go through their E:D routines... interdicting, being interdicted, hauling cargo, long-range exploration. Sometimes the fun is getting those interesting thoughts and stories out of people

Ya I sort of figured it would be on a more personal level but I was hoping to perhaps find some groups of players that hang out together and do trade runs/bounty hunting/minining etc. I'll have a look around for sure and hop on the discord/teamspeak to see whats happening.
