Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

Hi!

I'd heard about the Mobius group a fair while ago but watching a video by Obsidian Ant recently reminded me about you, and ... well here I am!
Till now I've always played ED in solo mode not because of any antisocial reasons but mainly because I cannot stand enforced PvP in games. I am rubbish at combat, always have been. I'm not brilliant against NPC's either lol. So I tend to leave that well alone and hop about in game, trading and taking some of the missions, and the odd community goal.

My ship is currently a Mk4 Cobra courtesy of the Horizions upgrade and yes it took me ages to work out how to get a planetary hangar and SRV! lol

If I'm not in this game I can be found in Star Trek Online, although ED is now becoming my "place to be"

Anyway thats enough about me, I've requested an invite to the group so I hope to see you all around the galaxy soon!

No I'm not based anywhere in particular at the moment. Are there favourite areas that people are in? It would be good to find a home so to speak

It would nice to base my ships in one place as well, currently on have the Cobra and the trusty Sidewinder but the Sidey is a loooooong way away from me right now.

The adopted home for Mobius is Azrael. You're likely to run into some pilots there, doing missions for the Order of Mobius for the surrounding systems.

I think a move is on the cards tonight then. If I move bases in Solo mode (still waiting on the private group admission) does ED start me in the same position in both private group and open?

I've had this game since it went live and I've never ventured into Open!

Your position will be the same regardless of game mode, and changing game modes can sometimes be used to good effect, for example dropping into solo to bypass the traffic jam during a popular community goal.
