Rear Admiral "Pureblood" Kel'Draga Federal Navy Auxiliary: Privateer

Kel'Draga was born on a super oxygen rich planet which caused super dense blood vessels and a reddish-purple hue to his skin which is partly why he got his nickname.
Kel was born into nobility so his life was set in a road of gold with a promised spot in the Federal Naval Academy...After this point however he was left to his own devices and skill, it is at this point his life really turned. He had a natural talent for leading, good decision making and his presence commanded respect. When he walked into the class room you would think the Commandant himself walked in after the first semester. A towering 6'6" dark reddish figure stocky build and forehead ridges with bright yellow eyes the students joked of an old science fiction piece called Star Wars that had a mythical race call the Sith and pure blooded Sith were red skinned madmen. Between this and his noble linage that is how he got the nickname Pureblood.
Due to his overwhelming success at the Academy and graduating with top honors he was given a high rank of Warrant Officer(rank 6). Most Cadets left as Petty Officers.
He was given command of a Python with a crew compliment of 6 but his noble birth haunted him as his parents pulled some strings and had him reassigned out of harms way in the Federal Navy Auxiliary better known as the Reserves or "B" team. Kel'Draga was furious and denied the order taking his crew and Python into a major FN/IN conflict preforming gloriously against overwhelming odds after 6 hours of constant battle the Crew of the Corsair had racked up 71 kills and saved several badly injured Federal ships.

For disobeying direct orders he was punished, for saving the lives of countless Federal Navy pilots and superior fighting he was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant but his crew and his ship were stripped from him. He was re-assigned to an Anaconda The Krayt Dragoon. It was a weaponless freighter, used to fund local dissidents in Imperial Space...It is here that his career surged.
One of his runs had him delivering Bio-Waste to the system Azrael, when he got there he discovered an independent faction The Order of Mobius. He learned that this faction was being undermined by an Imperial faction in a nearby system so he did what he did best. He out thought his opponent, flooded their markets with cheap goods which increased the demand for the higher quality parts being fabricated in the Azrael system. This forced the hand of the Empire faction and he delivered proof to the Federal Navy that the Empire was attempting a hostile expansion and was immediately given authorization to retro fit his ship into a Combat ship.
After several weeks of denying a blockade the fight was taken to their system and pushed so hard they were forced to offer a cease-fire which the Order accepted.

Due to his abilities to undermine the enemy and support a local independent faction he was promoted to Post Commander, a few months later for his sustained effort again to Post Captain. It was at this point Major conflict once again begun and his quick thinking fortified the station against a small fleet of mercenary ships bought and paid for by the Empire.

Fast tracked to the rank of Rear Admiral, Kel'Draga was reassigned to the FNS Manticore, a newly created Federal Corvette and was issued patrol orders of up to but not to exceed 100ly from the system Azrael to prevent piracy and undermining attempts of smaller independent factions.

Currently Rear Admiral "Pureblood" Kel'Draga is patrolling HIP 20277.
