33, father of 2. Biggest reason I'm dodging PvP is that, honestly, I'm still learning a lot within the game and love the immersion. I tried getting going 3 times in Open and got vaporized each time after wandering right out of the beginning system.

So, here I am! Not that I will for ever evade PvP but for now...I want to enjoy space sims finally coming back!

Please feel free to add your name to the In game friends list thread, and check out our TeamSpeak servers to easily chat with, and possibly wing up with other commanders.

Starting out is the toughest part of the game, especially if you're playing in Open mode. Like in most online games, there are losers who have nothing better to do than to beat up newcomers. And that's part of the reason Mobius was created - so that we could all play the game the way we want to without being harrassed by others.

If you're stuck at any stage, just yell out and someone will be around to help!

As for learning curve, it's surprising How Voice Attack transforms this into a really immersive(sp?) experience. I'm thinking of picking up another voice pack...maybe the 4th Doctor?

I just need to convince my wife to let me buy Oculus and a HOTAS now
