Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

CMDR Dewes here, owner of a Cobra MK III and divided between purchasing a Vulture or a ASP Explorer.

I get most of money bounty hunting in Resource Extraction Sites.

The Vulture is a great combat ship, but tends to be limited to just that role, whereas the Asp Explorer will allow you to swap roles very easily.

Greetings Cmdr Dewes. ^^^ What he said about Vulture vs Asp.

However, I'm the type of player who only really does combat and considers exploring/trading as an afterthought. The Vulture has no equal in combat until you get to the Federal Assault Ship and Fer de Lance which will cost you some $60-100 million to purchase and outfit.

With a Vulture, you will earn enough on bounties to buy an Asp in very little time. But then again, an Asp as a trader will earn you enough for a Vulture in very little time. You've reached the stage of the game where you start to get the really good ships and money will come a lot easier.

If you like bounty hunting.
Vulture hands down.
With it you can easily get 1-4 mil per session, more if you use power play bonuses (Hudson or lavigny duval)
Honestly I'm disappointed if I get less than 3 mil in 30 minute hunting session, payouts for 6-8 mil aren't uncommon.
Inow you will be able to get an asp as well within a week or so np.

whereas the Asp Explorer will allow you to swap roles very easily.
