Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

Hey guys!

I'm Rik, from Montreal/Canada and I'm 35 yo.

Old time gamer, this is my first flight/space game ever. The game hated me at first but got through the initial learning curve and I love it now!
Just too bad it took me 300 hours into the game to find out about Mobius.
Exactly what I'm looking for really!
I've avoided open for the most part due to not wanting to get insta-gibbed by 12 years old running wings of pythons and lose my PP bond stacks/bounty hunting stacks
I run small, frail ships and getting interdicted or suprised-attack out of the blue by bloodthirsty human players isn't my definition of fun at all.
My fav is the Imperial Eagle (don't ask why).

Also tired of playing alone in my corner, would like to chat from time to time at the very least!
Hopefully I am accepted into the group and , if so, looking forward to meet any and all players

I feel your pain. I didn't know about Mobius for the first 3-4 months that I was playing E-D. I played strickly in solo mode for the same reason that you stated.

Welcome to the group of people that are here to chat, help out, and just plain get along with each other!

Please feel free to add your name to the In game friends list thread, and check out our TeamSpeak servers to easily chat with, and possibly wing up with other commanders.

Also, make sure to check the Policy page if you haven't already.

On top of all of that, we also have a Facebook group and Twitter feed.

There is a lot of great info on the message board, and we have compiled a long list of Tips and Tricks to help new players acclimatize to the game while having fun.

Got 1 hour to log in the black before I head out to watch Hateful Eight with the wife - more later!
Going practice my fixed multicannons grinding some Antal's expansion.
