I've just joined the group and would like to thank Mobius for setting it up.

I've played Elite since my C64 days and Elite: Dangerous since Alpha 1.

I've nothing against PvP (and do PvP in other games) in the right environment but I don't believe there are enough checks and balances within ED to limit abuse and griefing and frankly it's not what I want to play ED for. It's good to see some other real people going about their business in the galaxy and I look forward to some co-op play also.

I'm going to the Launch/Premiere event so hope to see some of you there.

PS My CMDR name is my real name due to lack of imagination.
