I'm "just" an old gamer (in the words meaning, was born '67 ) that is quite new to Elite although I've played loads of hours in the X-Universum ...

Adder is a fine ship to do both exploring and trading with. Good range and fuel capacity, easy to upgrade. A nice step towards a Cobra.
