Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

Hi everyone

Would just like to repeat here everything I have just said to Mobius before he accepted me into this fine group

Was just despairing of open play until now
Have been playing SOLO for several months now, but the galaxy feels a bit lonely and empty without the chance of any player interaction
Then I found you guys

When I was playing in open I had quite a few very interesting interactions with players playing as pirates
They would target me maybe fire a few weapons demand some cargo - it was interesting
I had the choice of running away or submitting
Whichever I tried - it usually led to a interesting game situation
I really liked it

Unfortunately as time went on they became fewer and fewer
And the Arseholes came in their droves
Then I had to deal with the other Pvp player
Doesn't care about being a pirate - just wants to kill for LOLs

Sure they argued I am roleplaying a Psycho
Really?

Are you roleplaying being an arsehole?
Or you just actually an arsehole?

Or best of all - you are an arsehole roleplaying an arsehole?

Anyway - it was enough to put me off from Open for months - and I think my experience has suffered because of it

The Elite universe can be very lonely

I have found this group and it has given me hope for this game

I am very much looking forward to any player interaction in this group
(I understand that is chatting co-op etc NOT PVP)

Feel free to add your name to the In game friend list thread and check out our TeamSpeak servers to easily chat with, and possibly wing up with other commanders. Also, make sure to check the Policy page if you haven't already.

just a small correction so you don't get caught out, PvP is permitted in conflict zones. that's the only place its acceptable under the rules of the group but you'll find most CMDR's will either move to another CZ or message the person that is there if they arrive in a CZ to find it occupied.

I had enough bad/weird situations in EVE Online that when I came to ED, I immediately flew solo.

Then attempted to join a friend. Which didn't really work due to network issues.

But yes, the galaxy is a lonely place indeed. So it's good to have you, Snoopy! Welcome! And fly safe!
