Greetings, all. Lawson Thompson here.
Let's see, personal details:
Age: Old enough that I should have played the original Elite on my Commodore 64 in high school. Played Echelon instead!
Location (IRL): Earth, USA, Georgia, usually online 9p to midnight local time.
Elite Rank: "meh" with 7M+ banked, but I got a Viper and a Vulture now, which certainly makes up in defensive strength what I lack in dogfighting prowess.
Current Goal: Sol permit. Any tips on how to get one efficiently? Ranking up seems to be taking much longer than expected.
Favorite moment: On exploration run in an Adder, suddenly realized that the distant nebula I'd been aiming toward was completely filling my field of view.
I eventually dropped out of supercruise and throttled off, just to sit and stare a while. Ooh, shiny!
Trivia: Did some voiceover work for another space sim, http://www.FreeAllegiance.org when new training missions were added. Have been told I have a "radio voice".
