Foxes in Space

How do I operate the throttle and flight stick with my short little legs...? Try not to think about it too hard.

Hey there pilots! I'm Fox and I hail from the northwestern United States. I've been playing E:D off and on for a couple of months after /finally/ grabbing it on a steam sale. (Crowbar Fox on steam)

I took a break for a little bit after starting it due to troubles with linking up with my friend so we could just play as a duo. I've since revisited in the hopes that the networking has improved, and while reading the forum thread on the current 'Don't explore right now! It's broke as hell!' I saw the link to Mobius in someone's forum signature.

Being the sort of person that plays survival games alone or with friends only so I don't get capped in the back of the head by some random looking to get his kicks, I jumped at the opportunity to join the community here to make space a little less lonely for me and my Cobra III.

I'm not that good at combat presently, and I find I like exploring a whole lot. I used to mine for /days/ in EVE so I need to figure out the thing with the stuff and the drones here. Otherwise I'm actually looking forward into putzing around with politics, due to the far-reaching impact it could have. Plus the princess is cute. ._.

Currently on my way back home after getting halfway to the Witch Head Nebula. 500 Ly out I decided I should return to civilization and sell some survey data and poke at the power play. Here's hoping I didn't lose all that data I got. When it comes to exploration, I'm just a sprout, but I'm loving the stuff I see. Binary Stars and systems with /five/ stars in them (what the hell?) but my favorites are blue-white dwarf stars right now. It's also fun running into pirates that don't attack me because my cargo hold is empty.

VERY much looking forward to multi-crew ships (Maybe I'll join/fly with one of you folks) and planetary exploration. Hope to see you out in the stars!

Fly safe~ o7

Welcome to Mobius, commander Sleepyfox! :)

Thanks for sharing a couple of your exploration shots. I agree.... there are a lot of great systems to see out there!

It's good to see another American join our group. I'm from Arizona where the weather is like a little slice of paradise.... this time of year. ;)

Feel free to add your name to the In game friend list thread and check out our TeamSpeak servers to easily chat with, and possibly wing up with other commanders. Also, make sure to check the Policy page if you haven't already.

There is a lot of great info on the message board, and we have compiled a long list of Tips and Tricks to help new players acclimate to the game while having fun.

Well yeah, Elite: Dangerous has nothing to do with shotguns and/or football. So the 'Merican audience is a little smaller. I'm up in Washington where the weather is nice 10 months out of the year. :D
But I like the rain, so I'm a little crazy.

Out flying propaganda before bed... and I'll look into the Teamspeak stuff when t's not 4 in the morning and I need to be up for work in 8 hours. :D

But we have Kharmna - so that restores the equilibrium.
