Hello Commanders!

I thought I'd sign up as there was a topic I wanted to post on... which I think is in the approval queue.

Some of you may have heard of me. I wrote one of the official Elite books back in 2012/2013.

I still fire up the game occasionally and I'm staying true to my roots in only flying an old Cobra Mk3. My youngest son is a bit of a diva on CQC though.

Cheers,

Drew.

Hello and welcome, Drew!

Your post was approved before you could write this one! ;)
Happy to have you here, hope you will come by regularly and not just for this one post!

Fly safe, commander!

Thanks very much Wolf. Yes, I'll pop in every so often!

I've not much to contribute Elite-wise anymore I'm afraid, but I was honoured to have some positive remarks on my book in the other post (thanks for approving) and wanted to respond.

Cheers,

Drew.

Welcome Drew!

Only recently joined Mobius myself.

Thanks for Elite: Reclamation, thoroughly enjoyed it, along with the Oolite Saga, which dare I say it, might have enjoyed more :o

Hopefully see you out there.

Best Regards & Fly Safe!

Andrew

Thanks Andrew. :)

The Oolite Saga is a bit ropey in the first two books (I wasn't really taking it all that seriously then - hence all the 8-bit gags!) however I'm quite fond of Incursio and Finis. I much preferred the 'Galcop' era of history in the original Elite to the rather formulaic Federation/Empire/Alliance setup of the latter and current game.

All those blue bony felines and edible arts graduates. :)

Cheers,

Drew.

Hey Drew. I have them on my Kindle and I will be starting them this weekend. Looking forward to it.

HI Commander!

I hope you enjoy them. ER is far higher quality, but those older books are lighter in tone and more fun. :)

Cheers,

Drew.
