Heyo! I'm TheDoctorGraves, I like long walks on the beach, moonlit dinners, having enough money to topple local economies. flying big ships, and people who are "real".

In all sincerity though I bought Elite: Dangerous several months ago, and only played it for a few minutes before deciding I didn't like it, then about a week ago I decided to give it another shot and well...

^ This about sums up my reaction to it after figuring out how to fly

My end goal is to get the Anaconda and holy bejuebus am I looking forward to Horizons. I recently managed to get a type 6 following this guide I found on reddit. Some questions I have are:

- For people who are crazy good at trading, how much do you make an hour?
- The "world" of elite is huge, so what are the chances of me running into someone else?
- Any tips for a newbie trader?
- How stoked are you for bobble heads?

Thanks for taking the time to look at this!

Welcome to Mobius, commander TheDoctorGraves!

E-D can be discouraging at first. Glad you gave it another try, and are now hooked.... like the rest of us. ;)

You will run into other Mobius players from time to time in the more popular systems. Also, if you participate in a Community Goal you'll find all kinds of commanders doing the same thing!

We have some trading experts around here... hopefully some will chime in soon.

Feel free to add your name to the In game friend list thread and check out our TeamSpeak servers to easily chat with, and possibly wing up with other commanders. Also, make sure to check the Policy page if you haven't already.

There is a lot of great info on the message board, and we have compiled a long list of Tips and Tricks to help new players acclimate to the game while having fun.

Welcome Doctor!

Glad to hear you gave E: D another go. It certainly can be an unforgiving game from time to time.

Regards & Fly Safe.

Uhm... I haven't traded for a while... when I did I made about 5 Million credits an hour. I think that's fairly average? I've got more cargo capacity now...soooo.

A lot of trading depends on how much tonnage you can move. Unfortunately, the more expensive your ship is (more cargo space) the more money you will make.
