Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

Hello, I'm a new player, both to Elite in general, and to Mobius. I'm from BC, Canada, I play often in the afternoons. Most of the time I'll be running bulletin board cargo missions in order to make money, but lately I have been trying to earn merits with A Lavigny Duval through combat. It's a lot more difficult than I thought it would be, so any tips or help to maximizing my points in combat sweeps would be awesome. I'm looking forward to playing with and meeting you all.

There are several others here that are aligned with Arissa L-D, who will gladly wing up with you so that you both can gain merits. (myself included once I return from an exploration trip). IMO, it's hard to earn substantial credits in Power Play unless you commit a LOT of time to it, so if you are trying to save for the next module upgrade or your next ship you may want to put the PP stuff on the back burner.

Feel free to add your name to the In game friend list thread and check out our TeamSpeak servers to easily chat with, and possibly wing up with other commanders. Also, make sure to check the Policy page if you haven't already.

There is a lot of great info on the message board, and we have compiled a long list of Tips and Tricks for new players to help everyone get the most fun possible out of the game.
