Hi,
Firstly - thanks for letting me into the group,
My name is Paul, im 37 and live in Manchester, United Kingdom..
Loving Elite Dangerous but feel im not quite ready to delve into the world of open
Just pre-ordered Horizons and really looking forward to the way the game is headed, used to play elite on the c64 mainly trading as i could never get the hang of combat, next step for me was first encounters on the PC and then I climbed into the commanders seat of a sidewinder about 3 months ago
I play the game with Track IR and and an X52, which i can say is a very good combination and my first steps into combat in recent days has been a very immersive and an enjoyable change from hauling cargo between Eravate and neighboring systems.
Learned a hard lesson the other day dropping into a strong signal source where i was fodder for a good few NPC ships, yes lost my cobra very very quickly, 70k cr insurance and I was off and away again......
Looking forward to learning, progressing and interacting with fellow commanders in a PVE environment rather than the solitude of Solo
hopefully see you in a system somewhere in space o7
