CMDR L'Kas Rykr

Hey, all! Newbie here, started playing a couple weeks ago. I first heard of Elite: Dangerous on the KSP subreddit, when a couple people found CMDR Jebediah Kerman. Of course, being everybody's favorite kerbal, these guys took screenshots to prove it. At first I was wary, not a big fan of pvp, and I heard that was quite common and commonly unwanted. But then I got a Saitek X-52 HOTAS for KSP and whatever else I could find, and decided to give E:D a try. Started out in solo, I was hooked pretty quickly. Ground my way through transport missions to get a fanged Viper for bounty-hunting (may trade up to a Vulture), a fanged Cobra for trading and pirate-baiting, and a Diamondback Scout for exploring. In fact, I'm just about ready to get an ADS for my DB. Pretty soon, I'll be out away from civilized space seeing what's out there.
Also, I've got a story behind the character that I may share here. I got a couple log entries that I may post later today. In thoses log entries, I use "Zulu" time, or server time. For me, though, it's six hours behind, so when I log at 1500 hours Zulu, I'm actually logging at 900 hrs UTC-6.
