Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

Hello all fellow ED players,


I am a longtime reader, first time poster, and now since Jockey was so nice to responde to the PM on the official forums, I took the step to get to know you guys.

I am a veteran (burned out) MMO guy, I hate the concept of PVP, please who PVP, and the entire background. You can check out the official forums for ED,(Same name as in here) and you will see I am a true believer of SOLO Mode, until I was made aware of the fact that you guys are out there.

I live in Florida (yes that little state end the end deep south here in the USA. I am origjnally from Europe, but that is long time ago, and does not really matter, as I am not a flyer here in ED.

I pledged for miss Lavngy Duval (Empire).

I am normally flying a Cobra, as my brand new Python (my dream ship) has a mayor bug and its more expensive to fly than to park in the station.

Well I am not too bad in games and find my way around them pretty well, normally it does not take much until I get the hang of it. I have played Elite 1, and 2 (yes I am that old) and I like this game, but since it has some balance issues and bugs I rather do not go online as I hate to being exploited or griefed.

I am a casual player to say the best and when I play, I do just that. Work however, and my family take up a big part in my life as it should (right) and therefore I am not considered a grinder or power player. So yes don't count on my for a long 8 hour grind each day.

I like to group up and beat the game, the game and not a human player, I dislike the PvP thing and never liked it in any Online game I ever played, its eather unfair, unbalanced or I am just too bad to compete, anyways, I don't like it to see it as to spend my time in it.

I hope that gives a little away about me, and I hope I see you all out there.


I have noticed in the GROUPS that there are many Mobius groups... I am wondering which one is it? I don't to join the wrong group and get blown up if you know what I mean...

Welcome to the group! When you look at the groups list, we are:

Mobius

No periods, no weird letters or numbers added on. None of that. Just "Mobius"

I alread requested to be added. I will be looking on this voicechat thing, as I use Voiceattack for my gaming, I will check and see if I can get on chat with that for ingame, maybe push botton to talk

I have a button on my stick I use for push to talk and set voice attack to stop listening while I press that button.

that is an awesome idea, could you show me the macro setup in Voiceattack so that I can emulate it, as that would be my problem while in game.

We're both coming at this from roughly the same place - in both time & attitude - I think.

Main difference is, the only one giving me grief when I play too much is 'me pup'
