Hello fellow commanders, I'm Leon McLane. I played Elite Dangerous since its release but I never could have gotten the hang of it back then and stopped playing for a while. After being bedridden, I started watching a few videos on Elite Dangerous and I got the Space bug again. I came back, followed a few guides, mined my way to 500 mil cr and now I'm here. I don't like PvP especially when it can easily be exploited to grief other players like in Elite Dangerous. So when I heard about this group from the subreddit, I was thrilled. I'm currently in the process of catching up on ranks, engineering and so on, before I start chipping in the search for the dark wheel and/or Raxxla.

Hoping to see you in space cmdrs, o7.

Hello,

I am Commander JAHLIAR. I've been playing Elite since February 2018, but haven't really gotten into it until May 2020. Since then, I am trying everything the game has to offer except PvP.

Somehow I didn't find out about PvE-only groups for a long time. Since I'm often flying unarmed ships for exploration or mining, I really don't want to bother with gankers, so most of my time has been spent in solo mode. But I believe some player interaction can make this game even more fun, so I'm excited to join!

See you in the black! O7

Commander Axel Sand, at your service(-ish) :-)

My first experience with Elite was on the C64, where I managed to get to (if I recall correctly) "Deadly" before I for some reason got rid of that computer. Faffing about with savegames on tape and whatnot...

Mid-90ies I got to check out the Frontier: Elite II and the sequel First Encounters, played them to death and have been missing them quite a bit after not being able to run them on newer computers -- and the install media is long gone too...

So, since Epic nicely made this available to me (and I've since pre-bought the coming expansion), I decided to mess around a bit and see how it felt.

It felt good.

Got to "Elite" trader status yesterday through standard trading and mining, with a fair bit of help from some very nice youtube-channels. I still suck abysmally at combat though, but will try to improve on that too when I can ditch my gamepad for a HOTAS jobbie which is supposed to arrive monday or tuesday... Logitech G X52, looking forward to it!

In game I'm currently heading towards some Guardian structures in a system 600-ish (or is it more?) LY away from the core systems, wondering whether to bring another couple of SRVs, just to be sure...

Best regards, and take care out there (in game and out of it)!

LarsCB / Axel Sand

Hi I'm Gardner295. Been playing for a while but need I realised too late I was still in the old abandoned group ahah

I joined Mobius back in the day because I always had limited time available to play and I don't want to waste time because an hyperactive kid decided that killing empty Adders for the whole night was fun.
I like the idea of an entire server/group working together and simply be fellow comrades in the game. I like that you can still do PvP under certain circumstances and I kinda wish SoT took some lessons from here but anyway

Greetings CMDR's

This is Captain Obvious. Happy to join the Mobius PvE server.
I am a rather experienced player. Must be around 3000 to 4000 hours in game. I don't like PvP since it is only fun if both ships are about the same strength as seen in the CQC Arena. But in Open it breaks down to the fact, that there is one overpowered pvp ship and that is a fully engineerd FDL. And most time it is not the case that two FDL-owners meet themselves for a brawl but rather FDLs flying around searching for victims.

So it is just boring for me to always have to escape from such attacks while mining or pirate hunting. Since I have really well equipped ships I always manage to escape. But it is just annoying.

Especially when doing Community goals. With a pve optimized Cutter or Corvette it is simply pointless to fight pvp optimized FDL's.

So I really enjoy to have found the pve community in order to enjoy the game in a more lively galaxy.
Before I fond this group, I mostly played in private groups with a couple of friends.

DuoVonDagrate here, representing the San Francisco Bay & looking to FINALLY break into some cheeky combat!
If it's exploration, mining, or just listening to tunes and enjoying a good drink while in supercruise to the next goal, I'm your guy.
Never been into PvP, just would love to form/join a wing to gather mats and get that $$$. Still waiting on my official invite on the PS4 side, but feel free to PM me (Same username PSN). Cheers! 07

Hello to All,
My pilot is Jimmy Biggles. I have been playing Elite and Elite Frontier since they were released.
I am a retired electronics guru, I spent most of my life in tech support, R&D, sales, and took a position in my brother's company for the final 4 years of my career. Since retirement, I have been taking more computer and animatronics courses.
If you see my flying around, I'm probably lost . . .
If anyone can meet to answer a few questions, I would appreciate it immensely, and I will buy them a drink at the local Den of Iniquity. I have only been flying ED for a week. :D
