Greetings

I'm Cmdr 0dysseues, and I play PC.
I recently deleted my older character Soewin, so that I could name this character 0dysseues.

Hello fellow Commander's!

Hello fellow Commander's! My name is Crichton117 and I'm looking to get back into Elite. I recently saw a reddit post talking about a PVE only group and I had to find out more. I avoid open play for similar reasons to others, the few times I've played open some random(s) killed me for no reason. I love this game because I love space and exploration. Thank you and glad to be here!

Hello Commanders! I'm new to both Mobius and the game itself (10ish days playing so far).

I go by Jaggid Edje, on forums, in game, and everywhere else online mostly (spelling it wrong makes it so it's never taken anywhere, so don't criticize my spelling!).

I choose PVE because, while I do like to play competitively at times in most games where it is an option, I really, really hate it when my gameplay is interrupted by another human being when I am NOT interested in the activity. It would be one thing if there was an in-game rhyme or reason for it, but very often in PVP games other players just decide to be hostile because they are being d*cks. Now if only I could get the NPC pirates to follow the Mobius rules...

So far my main activities in the game have been extensive trading and a few days of pretty heavy exploration while I was also unlocking some engineers and gathering materials to boost the FSD on my trade Python and Exploration Asp. I really enjoyed the exploration activity so will probably do a lot more of that after I get my Trade Rank to Elite (at Tycoon, 40% so far).

Mornin, CMDR Morbid Flames here, I have been playing Elite for a couple months now and have avoided Open for the usual reasons but was talking with a friend and he suggested checking out Mobius. I would love to meet other players in the Black, but definitely am not planning on primarily playing for combat, so private groups seems like the perfect option. Mostly I play for mining and exploration with some tour bus driving in the mix for fun. Thanks for the opportunity and I look forward to meeting everyone. Fly Safe :)

Hello

I'm Marco from Italy and CMDR Techcraft in game. I have been playing Elite Dangerous Horizons for months enjoying it with a friend of mine and I would like to find new people to share fun and this beautiful game.
I'm trying to get new Federation ranks (now ensign) doing the "reputation" missions and I like the new wing mode. I tried to play in open group but I think it's irrealistic with people killing everyone only for fun or to get points .... horrible!

I'm 44 and I live in Milan .... working as IT specialist. If you want to share some fun without getting stressed .... add me!

:)

Hello all,
I’m brand new to Elite and my new HOTAS x52 Pro. Been trying training sessions to learn about the game and how to use the x52 Pro. Steep learning curve so far. I haven’t found a great instruction on the x52 Pro with the stock binds yet so if anyone could point me in the right direction it would be great. Also, any suggestions on getting started?

Anyway, looking forward to playing this game and meeting some fellow star travelers.

Thanks,
Dead

CMDR Madbrad21 here

I joined Mobius because I was tired of solo play but I don't want to be pk'd all the time in open. I've had ED for quite a while but for some reason shelved it a few years ago. I got back into it recently and I'm loving it again so far.

I hope to run into some other CMDRs out there maybe even join a wing to do some missions.

Howdy, all, Cmdr Scubadog here. Assuming all goes well and I'm approved in-game, I'll be connecting via the PVE America group when there are things like the DW2 caravan. I play Open exclusively. But since a few of my faction-mates were on the DW2 caravan and the <insert expletive here> gankers were pouncing on everyone they could, they insisted on going with a private group. The only time I ever go Solo is if I'm working a community goal and some <insert expletive here> cmdr has dozed off on the only medium pad at an outpost. Anyway, my home port is in Colonia (Colonia Dream in Ratraii system, specifically), and I love it there. I didn't officially joing the DW2 caravan since I didn't want to go back to the core systems, but I met up with them at Sag-A (having never been there before, it seemed like a good spot relatively near to join them). Now I'm sitting at Smootoae QY-S d3-202 (Luna's Shadow) getting ready to figure my path to Beagle Point (another place I have yet to visit). After that, I'll part ways with my faction-mates and the caravan and head back to Colonia. I've already been over a month away from home and I'm missing it.

I thought it interesting the question being asked about why we are choosing PvE over PvP. That doesn't seem to make sense to me. Aren't we, by choosing PvE, automatically INCLUDING PvP? I mean, I play in Open. I routinely come across players. And, even in a private group, are you not still within the real of PvP?
