I really enjoy space mining, trading, and exploration without player characters destroying your ship for fun. I was very excited when I found a group focused on PvE that actively removes gankers.

I have played quite a alot of space games back in the 90's and found i it quite sad how they disappeared. But now there back and playing as a community certainly is even better than playing solo. Looking forward to join the community and meet you in the game. thx

Good Day Fellow Commanders


My name is Commander Lazlo Thon. I've been playing Elite Dangerous in PC form since 1.5 I also am a moderator/founder of a Facebook subgroup called American Elite Commanders. This group was made to have a place on Facebook for any one playing in the U.S. time zones to get together and talk about the game and have some camaraderie. We have no preference of the way you choose to play the game, PVE, PVP or Solo. Also no preference on occupation, Pirate, Smuggler, Merchant or Bounty hunter. At last view our member count was over sixty members.

I'm here not to try to get you all to join but I myself would like to have the option to play in a PVE group without the worry of getting "Jumped" and to make new friends. Also to explore and enjoy all the options that the game has taken so much time, money and attention away from my life much to my wife's chagrin. .

Looking forward to seeing you in the black and until then keep it shiny!

AkaPakaPaka here. Still figuring this game out and looking forward to the 2.3 patch.

Been a space sim game fan since "Sundog" and Omnitrend's "Universe III".

In game commander is all lower case, akapakapaka. Not sure if that matters, but at this point, not willing to start over to change it.

Fairly new to the game an play mostly on my Mac. I do, however, boot into Windows as I have a Horizons license.

Hi all - I'm tim_harrison in game, and I'm a long time player, I had elite on my zx spectrum then elite2 on the amiga, so playing now feels like coming home . I'm loving Mobius, the community is great and very friendly - makes playing all the better!
