Greetings Commanders!

I am relatively new to ED, but not new to flying games. For the 99.99% I play solo. I have two engineered ships (a fighter and a mining vessel). Now slowly working on a discovery ship. While I prefer to be left alone for the most part, there are some group activities in the game that look fun. What attracted me to this particular group is the TOS, and the non-aggression policy in particular. Long term, I hope to find friends here with whom I can run missions. See you around the galaxy. Im a middle aged gamer who plays PVP specific games for that sort of thing. for Elite Dangerous I prefer the PVE experience especially in a game where the main servers with no restrictions are rather rampant with gankers.

Just a pilot that prefers cooperative gaming rather than expecting a fight every time I go to land somewhere, I spend long extended expeditions in the void and then return as exploration and exobiology is my thing.

Hey y'all, I'm a total newbie to this game. A friend pointed me in this direction as something that might be of interest to me. I'm grateful that there is such a large community of players who aren't focused on PvP and I'm hopeful that I might make some space friends and get to explore more of the game's content.

CMDR NET WALKER (wish I could change it) from the Land Down Under. Been back 2 weeks after many many years away. I do not enjoy PvP unless its a first person shooter. I always plan in Solo made in homage to the original but can get behind the PvE style on an invite server to have someone to chat to whilst playing.

Returning veteran player, CMDR JAFFOGLIDE, I've been flying Cobras and whatnot since the original Elite in the mid 1980s.

I've played most versions on most platforms. I haven't seen everything ... but almost everything.

I believe that PvP has its place among consensual, informed players. There is a time and a place.

That's why I am so happy to have found Mobius in the r/elitedangerous subreddit; I can finally play somewhere besides Solo.
