Hello Commander SRRAE here.

I heard about this group from a YouTube video. I didn't know a group such as this existed.

I play PvE for several reasons. Firstly I've been playing Elite since Elite on the C64 and is one of my favourite games of all time. To me Elite is a solo game. Elite has evolved to what I would like to call a social game it isn't geared towards PVP.

While waiting over a decade for Elite 4 (I actually emailed Frontier back in 1997 asking if Elite 4 was ever coming out) I played EVE Online for 6 years. That has a decent balance for PVP and PVE. There are area's where PVP is difficult and dangerous to do. There are certain loadouts which make a trader can use to make it difficult for a PVP'er to attack.

Elite is no where near that and doesn't seem to be going in that direction either.

With the little time I get to play Elite I want to play with similar minded players.

Actually, I'm a Merchant|Trader\Explorer, Wandering the Cosmos, Searching for good Prices on the Things people need - Selling them at a reasonable price - Plus a small stipend for my troubles, ;>)
Which brings me to my question, I need a fighter escort sometimes, for the bandits that are rampant in certain parts of the Galaxy,
Payments are on a sliding scale commensurate to the expertise of the pilot for the trip with a bonus for each pirate eradication .

This is certainly a bit troubling, but hard to follow without documentation.

Were you able to get any screen shots of the "your ship has been destroyed by _______" screen? To assure that it was a Commander and not an NPC that shot you down? (I know it sounds like a dumb question, but these sorts of mistakes have been made in the past.)

You'll also want to be sure you were flying in the Mobius or Mobius PVE group and not accidentally in Open or a different private group.

If you're able to get this information, or even just the name of the commander who shot you down, please send a private message to the forum Admins, and we'll be able to investigate.

Don't post commander names on the forums, for obvious naming and shaming reasons...

I'm sorry for the loss of your ship, Commander. :/

8 YR US Air Force Vet. Space is lonely. Hate PVP. I'd rather team up against the Computer than get mad at a person when they interdict me with a 4 man wing in FDLs and take on my Viper. Which happened 3x leaving a station in an unnamed Player Faction. Very frustrating

Good evening CMDRs,

I am CMDR McNicholl, been playing about 6 weeks now. Presently the proud owner of an Asp X and I'm rated as a 'Ranger' for exploration.
My achievements to date are slim, though I have made the long trip out to Colonia (I do not have Horizons so I had to do it without all the downpours that are now scattered along the route). Presently on my way back to the bubble by a long winding route, expect to be home for Christmas.

I am looking for like minded fellows to wing up with once I'm back in the bubble.

Hi all I got this game while back but struggled to play it now giving it another go have got the new expansion Horizons. At moment playing in Solo mode trying to learn the ropes just using Keyboard and mouse till my Hotas arrives.
I'm an oldy 67 played a for a number years various games.Not really been a great fan pvp also like just wander about and have fun explore take my time slowly getting to grips with some of the mechanics of this game bit of a learning curve for me, but it would be nice now and then catch up with some like minded people for advice or bit exploring with this new guy if poss.thank you in anticipation.
