Hey there! I'm trying to find a group but I'm torn. I have not experienced some of the things that I hear people talking about regarding griefing in open play, but I'm familiar with the concept. My motivation for joining a group is not based off of that, it's more of a desire to have a deeper experience and have people to play with on a regular bases. This game is just too much for most of my friends and space gets pretty lonely when you've spent some time in it by yourself.
So i have a couple questions:
1. Does this group play any of the system battles like the one in Lugh recently? Or is this something that is only available in open play? I havent done any of the conflict zones or battles yet so I'm not sure how that works.
2. I'm east coast (central) and get on around 8pm-1am every night, weekends usually gets one whole day dedicated to it as well. Are there others that play around the same times?
3. Is there any way to join up with some of you guys to play one night and just get a feel for you?

Hi Commander.
Don't worry, you'll find plenty of like-minded people in here. There are groups affiliated with the various factions of the Galaxy. There are also independent groups trying to build their own little sector (the Purple Central Industries in Pand, the CSG in Lugh) and there are groups that just want to form Wings for trading or whatnot.
Just spend some time exploring the forum and you'll find them (there's even a group of East Coast CMDRs just waiting for you

)

Thanks, I think I found the East Coast guys! I've been browsing through the forum instead of working today...

Greetings and welcome commander. Another East Coast commander here and lately I've been setting up quick Wings for whoever wants to RES Site bounty hunt or CZ fighting nearby the Shinrarta area. Hope to see you around!

Hey Qlock, East Coast CMDR here as well, sent you a friend request just now, I'll be playing tonight so perhaps we can Wing up and cause some mayhem. Not sure what system you're based out of, but right now I'm working to keep Leesti in the hands of the Alliance - there's active CZ's (though I don't see a lot of other CMDRs) in-system and I'm killing every non-Alliance ship in sight!

I just saw this post, after I already PM'd you... I'm still getting used not having Tapatalk to monitor my forum notifications...
I will check to see how close I am to you tonight. I'm a little hesitant to leave this spot as it's a gold mine for me. The only thing it doesn't really have is a place to turn in Empire bounties (that I've found, haven't tried real hard). But there is a NAV that has a port 50ls away and some great ship upgrades one system over. There's also a RES one jump away. I'm currently pulling an average of 300-500,000 cr/hr at the NAV. It's also where my Cobra is parked, so i need to figure out a plan for moving that or atleast not getting very far away from it. (They really need a better way to meet up or move ships).
Anyway, I'll see ya online tonight.

No worries, even if we don't meet up tonight it's nice to expand the friends list. I just got Eventure's incredible TCE working, so right now I'm touring around the Lave/Leesti area and adding to my personal database of system/station info. Should be playing for most of the evening.

Wow, haven't seen that tool yet. Ive been using Slopey's. I think I'm going to pull the Cobra out and run a rare route into Lave tonight. I'll ping you when I get near.
