Greetings!!
Cmdr Cardosis here! A gamer for more than two decades and currently PhD candidate (UT Austin). School 4 life!
I am lucky that I can combine my hobby (gaming) and work (research). My current projects are in the area of digital social capital and lately I find myself working with many large game developers. I tell my students that I play games for a living, which undergraduates love to hear!
I chose PvE over PvP, because of a few bad experiences in Beta and post release. This is a great game, but I prefer to avoid PvP (at least for now). Nothing against competitive play, but I prefer other games for that (like WoT or Eve). I use the same handle in most games so if you see a "Cardosis" it is most likely me.
