Hello everyone, CMDR Skyler Vega new to the game

Hi fellow commanders, and a big thanks for accepting me in the group!
Not sure what the median age is around the group, but I'm 39 yo and I'm a member of Mobius PvE Eurasia because I live somewhere in eastern Europe, in Romania.
I'm kinda new to Elite Dangerous with only about 400 hours played so far, but it quickly became one of my all-time favourite games.
I joined Mobius because I want to be able to choose for myself when I do PvE (in the group session) and when I want to be open for other types of play, in fully Open mode. Although probably 99% of my gameplay will be in Mobius.
To be fair, I only got ganked once, and it was way after I applied to join Mobius. It was during this past CG at Pawerlczyk Dock, where by the way I hauled over 38.000 tonnes of commodities.
I love all aspects of Elite Dangerous. Everything seems so well thought out and balanced. There's no "best" ship, no "best" weapon, no "best" engineering, everything is balanced and it's fully the choice of the commander what role a ship is built for. Wanna do mining in a Plipper or exploring in an Anaconda? Sure, go ahead! It's great.
By the way, I can't wait for the Nomad to be out so I can get the saucer (Caspian Explorer), put the Nomad on it and go out exploring.
I like most play styles in Elite, from hauling passengers to mining to pve or trading.

I have some other ships that are not yet fully kitted out, a Lynx Highliner that I got for 0 ARX. By the way it's still available for 0 ARX in the store if anyone wants one. I also have a Beluga, and a few taxi Sidewinders and Haulers
I'm also planning to get a Type-11 defender for farming pirates in Low Res while watching the show from a far away camera.
I already do this with the Plipper that I have and I enjoy it very much, I just watch while the turrets and SLF are taking care of the pirates. I only need to hop in the cockpit if an Anaconda shows up.
And of course I can't wait to get the Caspian and Nomad, after I finish grinding for a fleet carrier. My target is 15 billion.
If anyone cares to wing up for stacking and sharing pirate missions or something else, let me know. I usually do a 45-pirates sweep in a couple of hours.
