I'm CMDR Greevar. I'm fairly new to E:D, as I picked this game up in February, and I'm thoroughly enjoying it. If you see me in the black, don't be afraid to say hi!

Thanks! I've put in roughly 400 hours so far. I've managed to get to Tycoon, Pathfinder, and Competent ranks. I have a partially engineered DBX for long trips, a Krait MKII and a Chieftain for bounties, and a Python for cargo/mining. I'm working on getting at least one rank to elite, but mostly, I'm just trying to build up credits to buy ships. I hope to have a fully engineered ship eventually, and take a crack a hunting Thargoids.

I'm actually entirely new to the whole multiplayer aspect, so I'm not entirely sure how I meet up with other PvE Commanders. I'd like to do some wing missions, which have been mostly out of reach in solo. Is there a particular system that serves as a home base. I don't have any elite ranks yet, so I can't access Jameson Memorial. So far, Garay Terminal in Deciat has become my home entirely by accident.

To join a wing is pretty easy once you can meet up with some fellow Commanders.
Best way for that is to get in touch via discord, or even just any Commander you come along in the private group.

Then check out your contacts panel (left top), select the commander and choose 'invite to wing'
When the Commander accepts you're in a wing already ... or vice versa you get invited that way and accept the invitation.

Now you can choose to run bounty hunting missons together, trade or mining missions and so on...
For instance, you can pick a trading wing mission (with the blue wing symbol on it), and when you accepted it you can share it with the other commanders in your wing by going to your transactions panel (left), choosing the mission and click 'share'.
Or vice versa again, you can receive a message someone shared a mission, and then in your transactions panel you can accept the mission.
Advantage, all Commanders in a wing get payed the reward when finishing up on a mission, and when picking them wisely can lead to substantial credit build up.
But best part, when going HazRes bounty hunting it's just fun to be there with some fellow Commanders instead of just on you own.
