Hail and well met! CMDR SG Xcaliber reporting for duty.

Just started playing the game recently after owning it on PC for quite some time and I'm hooked. I even found and bought a used Saitek X52 on eBay (thanks Microsoft Flight Simulator for the shortage), but it hasn't arrived just yet. I found out about this group in a Reddit post and immediately applied to join (request pending approval). I don't like getting ganked and I'm not focused on combat so I don't want to be on the run or kit out my ship for combat (maybe someday though) so the idea of a multiplayer PVE environment/group really appeals to me. I've been playing in solo, but would love to join a Squadron or Wing and do some exploring, mining or maybe even bounty hunting in a group. Also just having a place to ask questions and get recommendations will be awesome. Is it ok to join the Discord before my official application is approved? I'm also curious how long the typical time is to get an approval? Not trying to rush the process, just curious.

Thanks for creating this group, can't wait to get to know more of you!
