Hello everybody and thank you for letting me join you.

I've only just started playing ED, but have been gaming since the days of the rubber keyed ZX spectrum. (It amazes me now, just how much 48k could do!) I fell in love with the original Elite and played loads of Frontier too.

At the moment, I'm trying to get use to the game, explore a bit and collect some engineering materials. Still trying hard to get the knack of core mining. But failing pretty badly. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Hope to get to know some of you in game some time :)
