I am a returning player to the game...I last played a LONG time ago. Maybe 2017 ish.
As such I have forgotten EVERYTHING, including all my keybinds
I'm busy wathcing a shed load of youtube to refresh my memory. I'll start playing again once I've finished setting up my "mini" cockpit. ( Basically homebuilt mounts for my HOTAS setup ).
A few things that are passing through my mind. I have no interest in using the SRV or walking aboot. I'm here to fly baby. I dunno how that will effect finding certain materials as such yet...it may limit me on some items from what I gather.
Also my laptop is now 10yrs old. It used to run ED fine back when I last played so fingers crossed it still has some guts left in it.
I plan to earn money to get the ships I'd like ( No interest in the largest ships ) so I can chop and change depending on my mood. Not sure what the best way to go is yet so I'll play it by ear.
Why have I decided to join Moebius? Well I've only ever played solo before, and the idea of playing open and getting randomly killed by superior pilots didn't appeal to me so joining a place where I can potentially interact with real people without that worry, appeals to me.
Not wanting to overshare, but I suffer from crippling clinical depression, and don't ride my motorbike in the dank winter months, so I'm hoping this gives me something to take my mind off life, if only for a little while.
Eventually, when I am comfortable enough with the game and piloting again, I'm hoping to look into joining in with community goals and faction support. I'm glad I found this place.
I'm just in the process of changing my Commanders name and then, the sky is the limit as they say
