It seems like my post may not have gone through. Anyways, hello everyone! I am CMDR Daisy Bell and I'm looking forward to playing with others who enjoy both peaceful activities and PVE combat. I've had some frustrating experiences in Open, hence why I want to join.

Greetings!

I am CMDR Jelly Doughnut. Nice to meet you.

About how long does it take to get approved in game? No rush, but I'm excited to play in something other than "solo."

Cmdr SRBJ (Svend from Denmark)

Postby SRBJ » Fri Aug 30, 2024 2:06 pm

Hello all of you Commanders out there.. Let me indtroduce myself (IRL)..
I`m 59 years old, live in Jutland/Denmark. For me, it all started with a commodore VIC 20, in very early 80`s.. When i joined the army in 83, i sort of missed somthing to do, when on leave at home. And since I have been a gamer, since before i even was called a gamer, i remember so clearly that in 1984 i Aarhus Denmark where i lived. I bought ”ELITE”…. AND BOY, was I sold.. All my free time,(except, from partying with fellow soldiers) was spent on ”ELITE” at the time…
I have been a gamer since, at been very much into ”Anarchy Online”… .. BUT NOOWW.. I am back to the roots.. I feel 19 yo again, and cant let go of that damn Elite Odeysse . I, am as hooked as I were when I was young.. Must admit though, that time is somewhat more sparse (Wife, 17 yo boy, and 2 dogs)… But I enjoy Elite just as much..
In my ordinary boring everyday life, (when not a commander of a spaceship), im a Dad, Husbond, dog dad, cat dad, and i (after my years of being soldier) im now a Trucker at night.. So I still ”command my own Space truck )..
My direction in Elite, was like when i was young. I like exploring, and doing Courier jobs..
Besides Gaming, I am also into survival and prepping..
All nice comments are read and appreciated.. Especially regarding advice to suits, ships, builds, and places, and advice that can help my future in Elite..
I wish you all a Safe journey and many lightyears of fortune and discovery…
Yours Commander SRBJ ( real life: Svend Jensen)

Hello, everyone! CMDR StarDolphin5 in-game. I have played games since my early childhood in the 2000s. However, it turns out neurodivergence contributes directly and indirectly to me being truly awful at almost everything I play - and I am perfectly fine with that. Therefore, I mostly play PvE experiences, especially single-player ones, but playing with chill people has also turned out to be fun, as I experienced first in Guild Wars 2.

As for Elite Dangerous, I fell in love with Ace Combat 7 a couple of years ago, and came back to it this year. Discovered in my house a Thrustmaster HOTAS and had a blast playing that game, so I wanted to find something else to play with it. That's where I found E:D, and I am loving it. Seems I came to it at a great time too. I've been mostly exploring and doing courier jobs, with some mild trading, but I just purchased a Fer de Lance which I've yet to equip in order to try to spice it up by bounty hunting.

Have safe flights, commanders!

Hello everyone
Yesterday, through the EliteESP community (Telegram), I learned about this site and community, which made me very happy, since in the groups I used to use, there were always few commanders.
I have been playing on PC for about 4 years, using a Hotas Thrustmaster TCA Airbus Edition, specialized in hunting pirates and targoids.
I already have my own carrier so I can rescue a nearby commander or trade and CGs on a large scale
I hope to find several commanders from the Spanish community to share (I am part of a fleet in South America)

Hi all,

and greetings from sunny Finland!

I have been playing ED for several years now, totaling roughly 3k hours in playtime, so I guess that makes me your everyday average cmdr out there in cold space :)

I have never been interested in the PvP side of the game, and while gankers are mostly a nuisance, it seemed like a good idea to also join a PvE-only group.

I also play in AXI group and open, and sometimes in smaller groups with friends.

Everybody is welcome to fleet carrier ISS Martti Ahtisaari for RRR and drinks! It is mostly parked near where the AX action is.
