STOP THE SOBEK BOYS

Description:
The nearby region of Sobek, home to the infamous Sobek Boys, has long been a hotbed of criminal activity.

Mayor Bailey is concerned that the Sobek Boys may try to make some kind of move when President Halsey comes to visit the region, as such ha has authorised members of the Alioth Independents and their allies to end the Sobek Boys reign of terror once and for all.

Those who assist in Securing Sobek for the Alliance will be elligible for a range of rewards, including a sliding scale bonus payment scheme.

System: 78 Ursae Majoris
Station: Townshend Hub
Objective: Submit combat bonds to Allioth Independents at Townshend Hub
How: Kill Sobek Boys in conflict zones in Sobek
Ends: 22 May 3301 18:00

i'm doing this one in parallel with the bounty-hunting one. it is moving incredibly slowly - miles away from tier 1, not even halfway i don't think. ironically there is a similar number of commanders doing this goal compared to the other one, and the other one has already passed a few tiers

i think FD need to re-balance CZ goals to reflect the much lower earnings they generate. you can't put them on a par with trading and bounty hunting goals and expect a similar result

ok, this goal is currently broken, the CZs have disappeared due to the Sobek Boys being in a lockdown state.

no doubt FD will fix it when they return on monday, but until then give it a miss

They were at war yesterday with conflict zones at 78 Ursae Majoris.

I noticed many people are not very active on this one, myself included. Partly because of the politics and the fact that the Sobek System has been a good trading point for new Alliance players that hang out around the capital earning their Alioth Permit which is very close. So many of us get allied with Sobek Boys early on and don't fancy breaking it.

I know their security has saved my backside a few times and I am rarely attacked by them or hardly anyone for several lightyears in the region because of all my early activity and being allied with almost everyone in the area.

I am allied with Alliance too.

This case Im allied both of the fighting sides. The rep that I might loss for fight against the Sobek Boys, i will get back from Allioth Independents. Or how this is working cases like this? Both sides are the same faction.

wow, this one is running right down to the wire. 3 hours before time runs out, but the bar is steadily creeping towards that top tier mark.

i'm over the other side of populated space, but i'm almost tempted to return to 78UM to see if i can help nudge the bar up a bit. almost.
