Nice! Wish I would have gotten the mid air ram on video, glad you did.

Wicked view from the Vive.

What I managed to get last night.

I do say the vive records a better view, this seems to only be my left eye so I get more, both to the right and above.

I think.

Think I hit about 135 right before landing.

That works out to about 486 kph, or 302mph..

I should not have survived that, seriously if the buggy was ok my internal organs should have been soup after the first bounce.

What do you do when you hear of a Massive Mountain on a small Icy World?

The A-Team Climbs it of course!

And the A-Team NEVER do things that are boring. Seems the mountain is so tall, the top is well above the drop out zone, so when we got up high enough, the SRV's went into Float mode.

Thats when i rolled the cameras.....

I have some footage as well.
But I haven't sorted out my I/O bottleneck so it stutters badly at times.
That and the rift seem to only record the bottom half of my left eye.
So when I look straight ahead. You all pretty much see the left info panel and the sensor display ..

I could upload it of course but I can't recommend it to anyone.

Well there is only one thing to do......

Send the Rift back and keep the Vive. Our video enjoyment is more important than some legibility and framerate boost for you. Baring that, you can always sell both and use that lovely monitor of yours.
