DVORSI - December 23rd 3301

Having no choice but to flee away from the Azrael system because of fines, and making their way to Dvorsi, The A-Team is now on the search for the elusive Zirconium....

After I did some research, we head to Guathiti to a Metal Rich planet in search of Kharma's elusive Viagraonium. I arrive at Guathiti A2 first and land. Only to discover as pointed out by other A-Team Members, that we were supposed to go to Guathiti A1. So i swing over and land there.

Shortly after, Kharma and Dawg are in SC when Kharma is interdicted. Of course, being the faithful Dawg he is, he drops out as well to lend a hand (he was Nav-locked, and had no choice).

Kharma is immediately attacked by an FDS. Within Seconds, his shields are dropping. Problem is, the FDS is not showing up on Kharmas screen nor Radar. He Can't Target him.Dawg rushes to help, but ends up chasing his tail instead as he can't see him either and was distracted by his tail. Kharma is trying to get out of there and in the process gets a beatdown worthy of a Rocky fight scene. He manages to get out with 11% hull. "Dear FD.... About this bug..."

Thing is, he has a blown canopy. It sure would help if he could Nav-Lock on Dawg to get him to the station. Problem is, Dawg is still chasing his own arse saying "Where is he? Let me at him! Let me at him! Where is he?" Kharma targets the closest station and we whistle long enough that Dawg finally hears us and jumps out. (Actually we were yelling GTFO !! Code 39! But Dawg found his own tail was to exciting to listen.)

Kharma makes it to the station, but it is an outpost and has no repair facility. So then he finds a real station and heads into SC again. At this point, I am sitting in my ship on our destination planet waiting, and decide to go for a Drink/smoke/meth/crack/bathroom break. When I return, I ask if they are alright. Seems they are having issues dropping out at the station. The keep dropping to early (Which is not hard to get right fellas, come on. There are 2 displays for that. RTFM!) And on the third attempt, they find the station. Even Dawg seems to be back on track.

After repairs (don't ask how much but it was the most Kharma has ever had to put out that didn't involve a bar tab or a "date" as he calls it.) they head over to meet me. Kharma pops in and sets down near me. Dawg however, has misread the gauges again and comes out of Glide 160KM from us and has to try again. He finally makes it. He sets down and we get in the Buggies and send the ships out.

I lock onto a large signal and we head out to investigate. Kharma is itching for some Viagraonium, and if we find it, I am going to keep at least 30 ly distance from him for the rest of the nigh. We chase down the signal and it becomes clear it is HUGE.

We find a mining facility. I am sure some of you have seen them. Few mining thingies, maybe a storage building. Couple of sentries. Not this one. It was Row on Row of mining machines and several buildings. But NO GUARDS! I searched for a data point in case, but there is none. I then decide to take one for the team and destroy a mining machine. No security response, but a Minin Fragment does fall out.

This starts a run of using shooting the machines, snagging fragments (osmium, gold, bauxite and others) and loading our ships. Its free money.

Shortly after my third run to my ship, I crash to desktop. By the time I get back, my TEAM-MATES have stripped the place clean. Buggers. So I head off exploring the area. Seems Kharma has crashed. The mining machines have respawned and Dawg is even more greedy as he continues to shoot them. Kharma comes back and they are both going crazy blasting stuff as it respawns seconds later. "Dear FD.... About this bug"

I have found a canyon but it is too steep to Buggy down, so I call my ship and head down to look around. Just as I exit at the bottom in my Buggy, I crash to desktop with a Crash Report. I log back in and crash as soon as the Big Buggy Orange thing is spinning. "Dear FD.... About this bug..."

I finally get back in and head back up top to find the Boys still playing Shoot Everything thrice! When they finally stop, we decide the instance is screwed because everything is respawning so we head back to the station to sell our booty. Before Kharma sells his Dawg is reading the BB and says WAIT! There is a mission to get the station some Osmium. 3 T and they pay 280K. Kharma has 3 T. PAYDAY!

Once that is done, we get back to the surface and look around a bit, but realize we have wasted over 3 hours and all we did is shoot fish in a barrel, almost lose a team mate, and basically do nothing.

So we call it a night. But kharma is right. We did laugh!

"Dear FD... About those bugs...." :P

December 27th 3301 - Guathiti 2

A short Adventure today. I met up with Dawg in Sak Manka and Notice Kharma had finally staggered out of bed (Last night I chatted to him and he was, lets say, a little under the influence) and we met him on Guathiti 2.

I was a little concerned, as my new Asp Scout build only carries 1 buggy and we are all acutely aware how hard I am on them. But we settled down and found a few POI's. Of course this required some refreshments, and I decided to polish off the half of a bottle of Irish Creme my neighbour made me for Christmas. Of Course that was just one coffee filled, so I broke open another bottle of Bailieys when that was empty. Dawg stayed with Coffee, even though Kharma Joined me.

One of them was a Single Sentry with a single Canister. We all saw different items. Kharma saw Narcotics, I saw Consumer Tech and Dawg saw whatever. We EACH picked up the canister we saw. One Canister and all three of us picked it up. (Dear FD... About this bug...).

Dawg Jettisoned his, and we then saw another canister of whatever it was he saw, I did the same as Did Kharma. Now there were three cannisters, all matched what we each saw, but at least we each could see them all. Dunno if its a bug or Instanced loot.

We did find a small Mining Operation that we raided. And then we set down and decided to call a dinner break.

We did manage a couple of Pics. Here we are landed and getting ready to log off till after dinner.

Too bad my schedule is so screwed that I can't seriously plan a decent gaming session.
This is one of the most entertaining threads I have ever read!
I would love to join, but as I said, can't plan ahead atm. Maybe I could be the one member of the team that never shows up... ;)

No Worries Wolf, you could be like one of those Up and Rising stars that they toss into an episode to boost ratings whenever you have a chance. :P
