Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

This is what happend yesterday, when I unlocked Palin. I was taking thargoid sh*te to Obsidian Orbital by Professor's request. What could possibly go right?

My Queen Annie's Revenge is melting (because I took extra to sell at black market and get Sneaky achievement). Pulled out of Witchspace and attacked by thargoid. Pirate tried to intercept and we almost hit the star. And finally canopy blew up while I was entering mailslot.

I had a similar experience last year but I was in a Cobra III. Don't think I posted it here but here is the story:

Went to get some drives from palin and then nipped to obsidian orbital while I'm here. Got that mission that pops for 12m for some Thargoid resin which i remembered seeing at the mini Thargoid crash-site.
Didn't have CCR but thought what the hell, I can just be fast.
Well on my way back got a message from Palin that some dude was after me. Before he could catch me tho, I got hyperdicted by a wing of 3 Thargoids. So there is me with a hold full of Thargoid stuffs and just been emp'd, thought I was a gonner!
Somehow manage to get away only to be interdicted by the mission target in a FAS (im in a Cobra MkIII). Has a nice duel with him he got me down to 30% hull and knocked out my drives. My inertia (thank god I'd just updated the drives) kept me just far enough away so i could reboot/repair. Got 1% of my thrusters back and just about made it to Palin for repair and CCR.
Now I'm about to go do it properly, with CCR.

This has been a fun evening!
