I saw a video about a year ago of two rings right next to each other with the one flying by and the other standing still (relative to the ship). I have since seen this myself, and it's also clear the rings move when in a RES and you go from sunlight, to shadow, and back to sunlight again. But, as seen from the outside, the inner ring is moving too fast. If you paced it in a ship it would probably take only 5 minutes to orbit a planet, but if you jump into the rings it will take hours/days. In reality, I believe each ring "disc" would be made up of hundreds of smaller rings with each outer ring moving slightly slower. That would be cool to see, but probably a huge computing drain to show.
