My very first Thargoid Interceptor kill (and solo kill) cyclops variant

Sorry I couldn't get more detailed screen caps. I wasn't expecting the Thargoid to be the one to blow up, so I ended up hitting that "F10" key like a maniac. Subsequent encounters have been utter failures but that one kill felt pretty good and it's awesome to know that it is possible. If anyone wants to add me as a friend to do multi-crew or wing up to blow some more of these up, please drop me a line! (also applies to those already on my friends list). Playing in the: "Mobius pve" group, though not adverse to hitting open either.

Nice work indeed, it is a very satisfying win when you do get it right
I am currently in Merope and splatting bugs most days, would be happy to wing up and do some more.

I've taken things back to the drawing board by purchasing and outfitting a "Krait MK2" for cyclops hunting. As great as the Federal Corvette is, insurance is hefty and weapon hard point placement doesn't feel very well suited for these encounters. The Krait's maneuverability and extra speed added an advantage despite the limited utility and optional hard point availability. I've now experienced my 2nd and 3rd cyclops interceptor kills, which are getting easier as now I am more acclimated to it's movements and weapons abilities. Those fights are a lot of fun and i'm thinking with a wing, probably would stand a chance against the basilisks and maybe... Hydras.

Will do, am on night shifts at the moment but once I am finished I will be back in game so happy to wing up with anyone and have some fun. Be great to get a wing of 4 together and cause some serious pain to the bugs.

Nice work, I use either an FDL or a Krait, as you say if it goes sideways the rebuy is a lot LOT less even though money is not a problem it still smarts somewhat when you are losing circa 25 million credits each time.
I definitely want to move up to trying the Medusa and Basilisk next so hopefully can get a wont together with a few others and take a few on.
