Sure as hell looks like it..

That bright spot is a neutron star. Too bad it's almost 80 Ly away and there's nothing between the two of us.

But the Core looks nice and bright from out here.

I don't think I'll be coming back here again. There isn't much to see here except for the blackness of the intergalactic space. I've been thinking to explore the other side of the galaxy on the next trip out.

Although pretty much every system since I jumped out of the nebula and headed down has had some sort of life in them. Even found one ELW. Made me wonder how navigating by the stars is working for them as there's probably like five stars visible in the night sky :D Maybe they use the nebula and Magellanic Clouds instead.
